Terms of Service

Agreement

By using DeadPing ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The Service

DeadPing provides heartbeat monitoring for scheduled tasks and cron jobs. You create monitors, your jobs ping unique URLs, and we alert you if pings stop arriving on time. We provide this service on a best-effort basis.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One person or organization per account. You must provide a valid email address.

Payment

Free accounts have limited features as described on our pricing page. Pro plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel anytime through the billing portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis – contact us.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Abuse the ping endpoints (excessive requests beyond normal monitoring)
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Resell the Service without permission

Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance. We will communicate planned maintenance in advance when possible.

Limitation of liability

DeadPing is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed alerts or downtime. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms. We'll notify you by email of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
